Note: The information in this paragraph only applies to pre-1997 models (with hydromodulator Mecatronic). On production models since 1997 (with Bosch hydraulic modulator) built-in relays. And there is no such box.
Withdrawal
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable (chapter 5 paragraph 1).
2. On models with 4-cylinder engines, disconnect the vacuum hose from the connection on the intake manifold. To do this, squeeze the stoppers on the bushing and slowly remove the bushing.
3. To improve access, release the heater hose from its retainers and lay it away from the relay box.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector (s) turnip box wiring and, where necessary, a speed sensor unit.
5. Remove the four slotted screws and remove the turnip box from the hydraulic modulator (see fig.22.5).
Installation
6. Installation - in the reverse order of removal. Do not over-tighten the turnip box's mounting screws, as its plastic body is fragile.
