            0

Note: Once the rear hub is removed, its bearings become unusable. Therefore, after removal, the hub must always be replaced together with the bearings.

Withdrawal

1. Support the front wheels with wedges. Then lift the back of the car and place it on supports. Remove the corresponding rear wheel.

2. Remove the ABS sensor (in the presence of) from rear axle support (chapter 9).

3. Remove the hub assembly with bearings (paragraph 9).

Models with drum brakes

4. Install the clamp on the brake hose, and then release the hose clamp and disconnect it from the suspension strut.

5. Turn away a union nut and disconnect the brake pipeline from the wheel cylinder. To avoid a subsequent bleeding procedure, it is recommended not to disconnect the brake pipe from the wheel cylinder, provided that the rigid and flexible brake pipes are not damaged.

6. Turn out bolts of fastening of a back board to a support of a back axis (see fig. 10.6). The brake pads and handbrake cable do not need to be disconnected.

Models with disc brakes

7. Remove the splash screen bolts from the rear axle support.

All models

8. Remove the bolt that secures the reaction arm to the bottom of the axle support and slide the reaction arm down.

9. Turn out bolts of fastening of forward and back lower levers to a support of an axis and take away levers aside.

10. Rest the axle support on the stand. Then turn out a bolt of a clip of fastening of a support of an axis to a rack.

11. Using a pry bar, press the axle support down at its top and separate it from the suspension strut. Pull the axle support out from under the wheel arch.

Installation

12. Install the axle support on the stand. Then insert the clamp bolt and tighten it to the required torque.

13. Install the front and rear lower control arms to the axle support. Insert the bolts hand-tight.

14. Install the reaction arm on the bottom of the axle support. Fasten the bolts.

15. Install the rear shield on the axle support (or splash screen) and tighten the bolts to the required torque.

Models with drum brakes

16. Install the brake pipe on the wheel cylinder (if the pipeline has been disconnected). Tighten the connection nut.

17. Connect the hose to the stand, install the clamp and remove the clamp installed to prevent leaks.

All models

18. Install a new hub assembly with bearings.

19. Install the ABS sensor (in the presence of - see chapter 9).

20. Install the wheel and lower the vehicle to the ground.
