Removing and installing the battery

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the battery wires, starting with the negative wire (see fig.2.1).



2. Remove the battery clamps (see fig. 2.2, a, b).



3. Take out the battery (see fig.2.3) . Be careful - it's heavy.



4. After removing the battery, inspect its tray for corrosion (see chapter 1).

5. If you will replace the battery, then instead of it you need to install the same one - with the same dimensions, capacity (in ampere-hours). the same value of current when starting a cold engine, etc. Dispose of the used battery properly.

Installation

6. Installation - in the reverse order of removal.
