Steering lock/ignition lock

See position 12 in paragraph 2.

The steering lock/ignition switch combination has the following key positions. When the key is not inserted into the ignition lock, the steering wheel is locked by the steering column lock.

The ignition lock has four key positions:
  • 0 - ignition off. After removing the key, the steering column is locked;
  • I - steering column unlocked, ignition and all electrical circuits (except for the radio) de-energized. Do not leave the key in this position for a long time, as this may cause the battery to drain;
  • II - the ignition is on, and all electrical circuits are in working mode. Also included is a panel of indicator lights. This is the normal operating position of the key and is recommended for towing in addition to driving;
  • III - the starter is on. As soon as the engine starts, the key should be released.

Warning: Never turn off the ignition (put the key in position 0) while driving!

Turn on/off

To do this, there is a special switch located on the left of the steering wheel: the top button is on, the bottom one is off. Simultaneously with the shutdown, the speed stored in the memory will be erased.
