Washer fluid level

The same tank serves the tailgate and headlight washers (If there are any).

Washer fluid additives are designed not only to keep your windshield clean in bad weather, but to keep your washer fluid from freezing in the cold - when you probably need it the most. Do not drink only water into the washer reservoir to avoid over-diluting the washer fluid and preventing it from freezing in the cold. Never use antifreeze used by the engine in the washer - it can discolor or destroy the paintwork.

1. The windshield washer reservoir is located in the right front corner of the engine compartment behind the headlight assembly.



2. To check the fluid level, unscrew the cap and inspect the inside of the reservoir. If the fluid is not visible, then it needs to be topped up.



3. When topping up the tank, add detergent to the water in the proportion indicated on the bottle.
