Withdrawal
1. Remove the air cleaner assembly (chapter 4A).
2. Disconnect the clutch cable from the release lever by pulling the cable with pliers so. so that the end of the cable comes out of the release lever.
3. Disconnect the cable sheath from the support ledge located on top of the gearbox bell. Pay attention to the rubber damper on the end of the cable sheath (see fig. 4.3).
4. From inside salon remove the bottom part of facing of the front panel from a steering column for access to a pedal of coupling. (See chapter 11, paragraph 29).
5. Disconnect the pedal return spring from the pedal and bracket. Note that the spring is caught in a small hole in the bracket that is not easy to see.
6. Unhook the cable from the pedal segment (see fig. 4.6).
7. Pull the cable through the engine compartment bulkhead opening. Disconnect the cable from the support located near the brake booster. Pull the cable out of the engine compartment (see fig. 4.7).
Installation
8. Pull the cable into the passenger compartment through the hole in the bulkhead of the engine compartment. Install the cable on the segment and fix its limit switch (see fig. 4.8).
9. Install the pedal return spring by hooking it into the small hole.
10. Connect the cable from the transmission side. To do this, pass it through the support tab located on top of the transmission and hook it onto the release lever.
11. Install the rubber bushing into the cable support. Replace bushing if necessary.
12. Adjust pedal stroke (paragraph 3).
13. Check clutch operation.
14. Establish the facing panel on a steering column.
15. Install the air cleaner (chapter 4A).
