Removal and installation of a forward brake disk

Remove the brake disc as follows:

- remove the brake caliper as described above and tie it to the suspension with a wire so that it does not hang on the hose;

- by disconnecting both safety clips (pic. 257), pull the brake disc out of the wheel hub;

- carefully clear adjoining surfaces of a nave and a disk;

- after fixing the brake disc with new clips, reinstall the two wheel nuts, tightening them tightly to the brake disc, fix the dial indicator with a suitable holder on the front wheel suspension and fit the indicator pin on the disc as close as possible (pic. 258). Slowly rotate the brake disc, observe the deflection of the arrow (maximum deviation should not exceed 0.15 mm);

- if the resulting deviation exceeds the allowable, again remove the disc from the hub so that the adjacent surfaces of the hub and disc can be checked again, also try to install the brake disc on the hub in a different position, if this does not help, replace the brake disc.
