Removal and installation of the rear disc brake caliper

Remove the brake caliper as follows:

- loosen the wheel nuts;

- Raise the rear of the car on supports and remove the wheel;

- brake the car with a parking brake;

- disconnect the wear indicator wire (loosen the bolt, disconnect the connector);

- unscrew the brake hose from the brake pipe, close the ends properly to prevent dirt from getting in;

- Remove the brake pads as described in the previous subsection;

- Loosen the caliper mounting bolts (pic. 265), there are protective caps on the bolts, which must first be removed;

- Remove the parking brake cable from the lever and, as shown in fig. 266, disconnect the caliper.

Install in the reverse order of removal. Bolts of fastening of a support of a support tighten the moment of 41 Н·м. Make sure that the brake hose does not twist when connected. Reinstall the protective caps on the bolts. Be sure to bleed the brake system.
