ABS sensor replacement (front wheels)

The ABS sensors on the front wheels are located on the steering knuckle. Replace sensors as follows:

- Jack up the front of the car to gain access to individual parts, remove the front wheel;

- Turn away bolts of fastening of the gauge on a rotary fist, carefully remove it from a rotary fist in the place of fastening which is shown in fig. 274;

- unfasten the sensor cable through the free hole and disconnect the plug connector;

- check whether the mounting hole of the sensor and the sensor itself are not dirty.

Install in the reverse order of removal. After reassembly, check the functionality of the ABS.
