            0

Wheel bearing replacement (or wheel hub flange) described in subsection 12.1. Install the steering knuckle in the following order:

Pic. 193. Unclenching the clamping slot of the steering knuckle

- insert the steering knuckle into the suspension and mount it above the underside of the shock absorber strut, if necessary, reopen the clamping slot as described above (Allen key must be inserted as shown in fig. 193);

Pic. 192. Location of the clamping bolt of the shock absorber strut-swivel fist connection

- insert the clamping bolt into the hole shown in fig. 192, screw the nut on the other side and tighten to 85 Nm;

- insert the drive shaft into the wheel bearing and steering knuckle, as described in the relevant subsection, while inserting the drive shaft from the inside through the steering knuckle and put on the wheel hub flange from the outside;

- fasten the transverse suspension arm to the steering knuckle and insert the clamping bolt from the back side with the head down (do not forget the coating designed to protect the ball joint from damage);

- if necessary, slightly open the clamping slot by inserting the pin into the steering knuckle (the pin is inserted into the steering knuckle from below), tighten the nut to 83 Nm by placing a torque wrench on the nut and holding the bolt (the bolt must be precisely inserted into the groove of the shank of the ball head bolt);

- install the ABS sensor (in the presence of) and tighten the sensor mounting bolt to 10 Nm;

- attach the tie rod to the steering arm and tighten the nut to 37 Nm (nut must be replaced);

- Establish a support of the disk wheel brake mechanism, at the same time tighten bolts the moment of 120 Н·м;

Pic. 188. Loose shock absorber in the engine compartment

- attach the shock absorber to the upper stop, the nuts shown in fig. 188, tighten to 46 Nm;

- Install the wheel brake disc, wheel and lower the car onto the wheels;

- install the drive shaft as described in the relevant subsection, tighten the shaft nut to 340 Nm, tighten the wheel nuts to 85 Nm.
