To remove the jet rods, release the parking brake cable from the brake shoe and brake shield (see sect. «brakes»). Removal and installation of jet thrust 11 (see fig. 215) do it in the following order:
- raise the rear of the car and remove the wheels;
- place a jack under the transverse suspension arm and raise it so that you can unscrew the shock absorber mount from below;
- Disconnect the parking brake cable from the jet thrust;
- unscrew the brake pads and hang the parking brake cable;

- unscrew the three bolts of jet thrust on the hub (only on models up to December 1997) and remove both shown in fig. 217 bolts, then remove the jet rod together with the support and pull the parking brake cable through the rod;
- clamp the support in a vise and release the jet thrust from it;
- in the presence of ABS, disconnect the plug connector of the wheel sensor from the rod.
Install in the reverse order of removal. The necessary tightening torques are given in the appendix.
Before installing the jet link again, install it on the support.
