Checking the brake system for leaks and damage

            0

Check the brake system for leaks and damage as follows:

- inspect the brake pipes under the car: they should not have any signs of corrosion, strong bends and deformations, black wet dirt at the joints indicate the presence of leaky areas, the brake hoses should not be brittle or frayed;

- Wet dark dirt on the brake calipers, ventilation valves and at the junctions of the brake hose indicates a leak;

- check all protective covers for ventilation valves;

- check the brake pressure last: with great effort (about 300 Nm) press the brake pedal, the force should not weaken for several minutes, otherwise the system is leaking somewhere or the master brake cylinder is faulty.
