Removal and installation of the wiper motor (behind) for hatchback vehicles proceed as follows:
- disconnect «mass» wire and remove the wiper arm in the following order:
1) remove the plastic cover and loosen the nut under it by two turns;
2) press the lever away from the glass and move it to the side to release it from the cone seat;
3) completely unscrew the nut and remove the lever;
- unscrew the lining from the inside of the rear door (fastened with ten bolts - six on one side and four on the other side);

- after that, you can see the details shown in Fig. 295, indicating the procedure for their removal;
- Turn away three bolts of a fixing plate and remove all block;
Reassemble in reverse order, taking into account the following:
- Tighten the mounting plate bolts and wiper motor bolts to 8 Nm;
- Tighten the wiper spindle nut to 20 Nm and reinstall the plastic cover.
Removal and installation of the wiper motor (behind) for vehicles with a combi body, proceed as follows:
- Remove the wiper arm as described for the hatchback body;
- carefully press out six safety caps on the upper side of the open rear door with a screwdriver and unscrew the six bolts located behind them;
- the cladding is fixed in the middle with four clips, release them by carefully bending the cladding;
- turn away «mass» wire, disconnect the multi-pin connector and release the wire from the mount, unscrew the bolts of the wiper arm from the rear door, remove the mounting plate after unscrewing the three bolts.
Install in the reverse order of removal. Wrap all bolts the moment of 8 Н·м. When installing the cladding, align the position of the four clips in accordance with the holes and press the cladding. Then insert only six bolts and tighten them. Reinstall the protective caps.
