Removing and installing the wiper motor (front)

Removing the wiper motor (ahead) run as follows:

- turn on and off the wiper motor;

- Remove the wiper arms as described above;

- remove five caps and turn away bolts of fastening of the front panel;

- open the hood and disconnect «mass» battery wire;

- according to fig. 292 carefully wring out the rubber gasket 1 and unscrew the two bolts 2, disconnect both fasteners of the front panel and remove it;

- in the resulting hole, find the three wiper drive bolts, one on the right and one on the left, the other two are located approximately in the middle, to the left, on the back side of the long rod;

- wring out draft and disconnect from the engine a multicontact plug socket;

- mark the position of the crank arm in relation to the mounting plate, unscrew the lever nut, remove the lever, the motor is attached to the mounting plate with three bolts, now it can be disconnected.

Install in the reverse order of removal. When installing, observe the following tightening torques, Nm:

- wiper motor mounting bolts 8–12

- installation of the crank arm in accordance with the marks and fastening of the nut 25

- wiper drive rods 8

- both nuts of the wiper arms 25
