Check the engine oil level approximately every 600 km. To do this, remove the oil dipstick and wipe it with a clean cloth. Insert it again and take it out again. With the car standing on a horizontal platform, the oil should be between the top «Max» and bottom «Min» probe marks. If the oil level is at the lower mark, then you need to add oil.
The volume of oil between the two marks is approximately 1.0 liters, so it is not difficult to determine how much oil is missing. Never overfill the engine, i.e. The oil level must not rise above the top mark (this, for example, can cause damage to the built-in catalytic converter).
