Warning: The ignition system can generate voltages up to 32 kV - be careful when working on the ignition system.
Work with the ignition system must be carried out at specialized service stations.
When working on the ignition system, observe the following rules:
- when the engine with the ignition system is running, it is forbidden to work for people with a pacemaker;
- it is forbidden to remove the wires of the ignition system when the engine is running and when the starter is turned on;
- carry out work on the ignition system with the ignition off;
- connect and disconnect measuring instruments only when the ignition is off;
- do not connect a control lamp to conclusions of the coil of ignition;
- do not turn the crankshaft of the engine with a starter if all parts of the ignition system are not connected;
- do not carry out any checks while cranking the engine with a starter or with the engine running, if any wire is connected to «mass»;
- do not close «mass» the ends of the spark plug high voltage wires.
