3.2.1. Oil consumption

The oil dipstick is located on the front of the engine.

Warning: Check the oil level when the (5–10 minutes) engine.

To check the oil level:

- install the car on a horizontal platform;

- Carefully pull out the oil dipstick. Wipe it with a lint-free cloth or paper tissue, insert again until it stops;

- remove the oil dipstick again;

- the level must be between the marks on the dipstick.

If the oil level is at or below the lower mark, add oil. In doing so, observe the following recommendations:

- the amount of oil between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick is approximately 0.75 l;

- in normal driving style, it is enough to add oil when its level is in the lower third on the dipstick or when the oil level control lamp lights up. With sporty style, it is recommended to keep the oil level near the top mark on the dipstick. More oil cools engine parts better.

If the oil level is above the upper mark, remove excess oil.
