Inspect the engine and gearbox from all sides and determine the places of oil fogging. It is considered normal if a small amount of oil is released. To locate leaks, clean the relevant areas on the engine, test drive, and after a few miles, re-examine the leaks.
Pay particular attention to the following items:
- seal on the cylinder head cover;
- a forward cover on a head of the block of cylinders;
- crankcase ventilation hoses;
- oil pan;
- oil filter;
- drain plug;
- cover of the gas distribution mechanism.
