Oil filter replacement

Access to the oil filter is from the bottom of the engine compartment, place the front of the car on supports.

The filter is removed with a special key (pic. 117). If it is not available, you can pierce the filter from the side with a screwdriver blade and unscrew it with the screwdriver handle. Be aware that oil will leak out, take the necessary precautions.

Lubricate the O-ring with oil and grease before installing a new filter. Screw on the filter until it is snug against the O-ring, and then hand-tighten it half a turn to three-quarters of a turn. Do not use any tools for this.

After changing the oil filter, check the oil level.
