Fan

In all Mondeo models, cabin air exchange is supported by a four-stage centrifugal fan. Usually the fan is located in front of the heat exchanger, and therefore, even on winter days, the interior does not «cools down». Connectable resistors provide step control of the fan motor. At stage 4, the fan has maximum performance. Its power is large enough so that, regardless of the current speed of movement, the required volume of air is always circulated. This process, however, is ensured for several minutes even at the position «Air circulation». The fan motor is located in the center under the dashboard in front of the front wall.
