If you want to have the confidence of your automatic transmission, then never push your «striker» Mondeo. Yes, and for other versions it makes sense to use your own «pushing force» if the engine «in theory» is in order. For example, as soon as you hear under the engine hood «crackling» igniting sparks, better save your strength. It can even bode well for your budget, because if the ignition sparks take the path of least resistance in an uncoordinated way, unburned fresh fuel mixture enters the exhaust system and damages the catalytic converter.
PROCEDURE |
- Turn on the ignition and set to second gear.
- Depress the clutch and PUSH the vehicle.
- As soon as the car reaches a good speed, quickly depress the clutch pedal - the engine should turn over and start.
- Depress the clutch again immediately, set the handbrake and give full throttle.
- If things are not going well with your assistant, then try your luck in third gear.
