Dismantling

PROCEDURE
  1. First make sure the wiper motor is in the rest position. Then press the wire to ground and remove the wiper arm as described above.

  2. Remove the fairing grille (indicated by arrows and...
  3. ... pull the fairing sheets out of the mounting grooves.
  4. The wiper motor is dismantled along with the system of rods and levers. Loosen the three fixing screws (indicated by arrows), remove the cable connector, disconnect the connector from the wiper motor and then pull the wiper together with the linkage from the ventilation shaft.
  5. Now mark the position of the swing arm on the mounting plate, then remove the arm and unscrew the motor from the mounting plate.

Installation



PROCEDURE
  1. First screw the wiper motor to the mounting plate with a tightening torque of 8 Nm.
  2. Check that the engine is in the parked state and...
  3. ...install the swing arm according to the markings made and tighten the nut firmly with a tightening torque of 26 Nm.
  4. Complete the installation in reverse order.
  5. Check the function and center the wiper nozzles on the glass.
