The engine rotates at high speed, but the speed does not increase. It is better to inform in a timely manner about the state of your clutch - of course, only with reasonable suspicion, since the clutch with such «dry dough» thoroughly «sweats». Before you start the engine, set the handbrake.

PROCEDURE

Set the handbrake and start the engine. Engage the clutch, shift into 3rd gear and try to pull away as usual. With a perfect clutch, the motor «strangles» already in the first quarter of the clutch pedal being returned. If the engine continues to run further, the clutch is worn out.
