Replacing the inner handle of the tailgate lock actuator

You will need a TORX T20 key.

1. Remove the back door upholstery (see Removing and installing tailgate trim).



2. Turn out the screw of fastening from a piston of the case of the internal handle.



3. Using a screwdriver, pry off the inner handle housing and remove the fastening clip from the inner door panel.



4. Slide the inner handle forward and remove its body from the holder (Pictured is a yellow holder).



5. Prying off the cable holder of the inner handle of the lock with a screwdriver..



6.... remove it from the hole in the inner door panel.



7. Pressing from below on the tip of the sheath of the lock drive cable, remove the tip from the handle body.



8. Pressing the handle, disconnect the tip of the cable from the lever of the inner handle of the lock drive..



9….and remove the handle.

10. Establish the internal handle of a drive of the lock of a back door in an order, the return to removal.
