Removal and installation of a cowl

You will need: socket head "10", a screwdriver with a flat blade.

GOOD ADVICE: To avoid injury and damage to vehicle parts, remove the hood with an assistant.

1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.



2. Additional noise insulation is installed on the inside of the hood. To remove it, squeeze the fastening piston..



3….and remove it from its socket.



4. Remove the remaining caps in sequence and remove the noise insulation from the hood.




5. Pressing the latches..



6.... disconnect the electrical heating wire harness connectors of both windshield washer jets.



7. Remove the washer hose from the jet fitting.



8. Having pressed the petals of the two holders on the hood amplifier and the holder on the hood hinge..




9.... remove the washer hose from them.



10. Remove the washer hose holder from the hood hinge hole.



11. If you remove the hood not for replacement, mark its position relative to the hinges, for example, by tracing the hinges along the contour with a felt-tip pen.



12. Turn on two nuts of fastening of a cowl to both loops and remove a cowl.

13. Install the hood and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
