Removal and installation of a forward bumper

You will need: TORX T20 wrench, 10 socket socket, flat blade screwdriver (or piston puller), Phillips screwdriver.

1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.

2. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.



3. Remove the engine mudguard (see Removal and installation of mudguard and crankcase protection).

4. Disconnect pads of plaits of wires from fog lamps.



5. In the arches of the front wheels, turn out one lower..



6.... and the upper screw securing both wheel arch liners to the bumper.



7. On the left side, unscrew the retainer of the piston for fastening the upper part of the bumper and, prying with a screwdriver, remove the piston.

8. Remove the piston on the right side in the same way.

NOTE: This is how the clips for the upper bumper mount are located.

9. Press the front bumper latches on the left and right sides..



10….and remove the front bumper.

11. Install the front bumper and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
