Checking the level and topping up the working fluid in the power steering reservoir

            0

A drop in the level of the working fluid in the reservoir of the power steering may be the result of a violation of the tightness of the system and fluid leakage. In this case, it is necessary to more often monitor the level of the working fluid in the tank and, as soon as possible, check the condition of the components and parts of the power steering.

You will need: power steering fluid, clean rag.

The tank is mounted on a bracket on the right side of the engine compartment near the radiator frame.

The level of the working fluid is controlled visually. On the translucent wall of the tank body are marked "MAX" and "MIN". When the engine is warmed up to normal temperature, the working fluid level should be near the "MAX" mark. When the engine is cold, the fluid level must not be below the "MIN" mark.

NOTE: Check the power steering fluid level with the engine off.

1. Unscrew the tank cap..

2….and add the required amount of working fluid.

3. Close the stopper and wipe off any drips.
