Removing and installing speakers of the acoustic system

You will need flat and Phillips screwdrivers.

To remove the tweeters installed on the front doors, do the following.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.



2. Using a screwdriver, pry off the lining of the outside rear-view mirror support..



3.... and overcoming the resistance of the latches, move the lining away from the door.



4. Having pressed the latch..




5.... disconnect the wiring harness block from the speaker of the speaker system and remove the lining along with the speaker.

6. Squeeze out the speaker fasteners and remove it from the hole in the lining.

7. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

To remove the speakers installed in the front and rear doors, do the following.

NOTE: The speakers in the front and rear doors are removed in the same way. The operation is shown using the front door speaker as an example.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.



2. Remove the upholstery of the front door (see Removing and installing front door trim).



3. Pressing the latch..




4.... disconnect the wiring harness block from the speaker of the speaker system.



5. Turn out three bolts of fastening of the loudspeaker to the panel of a door …



6….and remove it.



7. Install the speaker speaker and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
