Removal and installation of a combination of devices

You will need Phillips and flat blade screwdrivers.

1. Disconnect a wire from the minus plug of the storage battery.

2. Remove the steering column cover (see Removing and installing steering column cover).



3. Remove the steering wheel (see Steering wheel removal and installation).



4. Press up the decorative trim of the instrument cluster..



5.... and remove it, overcoming the resistance of the clamps.




6. Turn out two screws of fastening of a combination to the panel of devices …



7….carefully wring out the upper edge of the combination with a screwdriver, disengaging it from the instrument panel…



8.... and remove the combination from the socket in the instrument panel.



9. Gently prying the retainer away from the wiring harness block.




10. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the instrument cluster and remove it from the vehicle.

NOTE: Pay attention to the labeling of the instrument cluster. To replace, purchase a combination with the same marking.

11. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
