Replacement of motor reducers of electric drives of window regulators

You will need a TORX T30 key.

To replace the front door power window motor reducer, do the following.



1. Remove the front door power window (see Front Door Window Lifter Replacement).



2. Remove the three screws..



3.... and remove the front door power window motor.

NOTE:

Pay attention to the marking of the gearmotor. To replace, purchase a gearmotor with the same marking.

4. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

GOOD ADVICE: Before installing, apply grease to the gear motor gear.

To replace the rear power window motor gear, do the following.



1. Remove the rear window lifter (see Replacing the rear window lifter).



2. Remove the three screws..



3.... and remove the rear door power window motor.

NOTE: Pay attention to the marking of the gearmotor. To replace, purchase a gearmotor with the same marking.

4. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
