Removal and installation of the sunroof

Withdrawal

Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.

Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.

Remove a covering of a roof of salon.



Pull off the four drain tubes at the corners of the hatch.



Remove 12 fixing screws.

Attention! When unscrewing, the assistant must firmly hold the hatch.

If equipped, disconnect the sunroof motor multi-pin plug.

Remove the sunroof.

Installation

Before installation, check the condition of the self-adhesive rubber seal along the front edge and sides of the sunroof. Replace seal if damaged.


Install the sunroof and correct its position.



Fix the hatch with bolts, tighten the bolts in order from 1 to 12 with a torque of 25 Nm, see figure. When installing, the assistant must firmly hold the hatch.

Attach four drain pipes at the corners of the manhole.

Open and close the sunroof several times and check for ease of operation.

Install the roof lining.

Connect the ground wire to the battery terminal (-).

Set the time on the clock.

Set the radio's anti-theft code.
