Removal and installation of door glass

Withdrawal

Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.

Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.

Remove the door trim.

Remove an external rear-view mirror.

Manual window regulator: Temporarily attach the window regulator handle.

Power window: Temporarily connect the ground wire to the battery terminal and connect the power window motor wires.



Lower the window so that the screws -arrows- can be seen through the holes in the door.

Remove the power window handle. Disconnect the ground wire from the battery, disconnect the multi-pin plug.

Remove the screws.

Remove the door shaft outer seal.



Raise the glass from the outside of the door, tilt it forward and remove it from the window opening of the door.

Installation

Install the door glass in the opening and tighten, without tightening, both mounting screws on the power window guide.

Lower the glass to the limit and install the seal in the door opening.

Raise the glass to the limit.

By moving the glass left and right, set the glass to the middle position.

Lower the glass so that the fixing screws are visible through the holes in the door. Tighten the screws with a torque of 10 Nm.

Install the door trim.

Install the outside mirror.

Connect the ground wire to the battery terminal (-).

Set the time on the clock.

Set the radio's anti-theft code.
