Removal and installation of the fan

Withdrawal

Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.

Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. You must carefully read the section ''Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.

Remove the glove box. To do this, open the glovebox and pull it towards the co-driver's seat.

Remove the footwell cover under the glovebox by prying out the four spring clips with a small screwdriver.



Disconnect the multi-pin connector -1-.

Slightly lift the locking tab -2-, turn the fan approx. 30°counterclockwise and remove.

Installation

Install the fan and turn clockwise until the locking tab locks into place.

Put on the multi-pin connector.

Install and secure the upper footwell trim with four spring clips.

Insert the glove box into the holder.

Connect wire "masses" (-) to the battery.

Set the time on the clock.

Set the radio's anti-theft code.
