Removal and installation of a forward seat

Withdrawal

Remove the T50 bolts securing the seat belt to the seat and pull the belt through the trim.

Move the seat to the most forward position.

Turn out bolts of fastening of a casing of back fastening of a seat.



Turn out four bolts of fastening.

Move the seat to the rearmost position.

Turn out bolts of forward fastening and remove a seat.

Power seat

Disconnect the ground wire (-) from the battery.

Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.

Disconnect the multi-pin connector of the seat drive.

Installation

Establish a forward seat and screw, without tightening, bolts. On the power seat: Connect the multi-pin plug.

Tighten first the front and then the rear mounting bolts with a torque of 40 Nm.

Pass the seat belt through the trim and fasten with a torque of 40 Nm.

Check that the seat is locked in both positions.

If necessary, connect a ground wire to the battery terminal (-). Set the time on the clock. Set the radio's anti-theft code.
