Withdrawal
Mark the position of the wheels on the hub with paint in order to install them in their original place during assembly. Loosen the wheel nuts with the vehicle lowered. Raise the front of the car and remove the front wheels.
Remove cotter pin -E- and unscrew castellated nut -D- securing tie rod end -A- to stub axle arm. B - Locknut, C - Tie rod.
Press out the joint -A- with a special puller -C-. B - Pivot lever.
Loosen the locknut and unscrew the tip from the tie rod.
Attention! Note the number of turns when unscrewing, when installing, screw the tip by the same number of turns.
Installation
Screw the tie rod end to the previous number of revolutions and lock it with a lock nut. Do not tighten the locknut.
Insert the tip pin into the hole in the trunnion lever.
Tighten the slotted nut to 25 Nm and secure it with a new cotter pin. If the cotter pin does not go into the hole, then do not loosen the nut, but tighten it until the cotter pin enters the hole.
Install the front wheels so that the marks made earlier coincide. Apply a light coat of grease to the centering surface on the wheel hub before installing the wheels.
Screw on the wheel nuts. Lower the car and tighten the nuts crosswise with a torque of 100 Nm
Rock the car a little to install the suspension.
Check the wheel alignment and tighten the tie rod end locknut to 40 Nm.
