Attention! As a result, data in electronic storage devices, such as an engine fault memory or a radio code, are erased. Please read the section carefully "Removing and installing the battery", before disconnecting it.
Removing the carburetor engine starter
Disconnect the multi-pin connector from the MAF sensor, see point 5.6.
Remove the air filter see point 5.6.
Remove the top starter mounting bolts. At the same time unscrew the wire "masses", going to the engine.
Raise the vehicle.
Unscrew the starter wire and disconnect.
Remove the lower starter mounting bolt and remove the starter.
Installation
Install starter. Screw on the lower mounting bolt and tighten with a torque of 35 Nm.
Connect the starter wire.
Tighten the upper mounting bolts with a torque of 35 Nm. At the same time, screw the wire "masses" to the engine.
Install the air filter see point 5.6.
Connect the wire "masses" batteries (-).
Set the current time on the clock.
Enter the anti-theft code of the radio into memory.
Removing the turbodiesel starter
Raise the vehicle.
Remove the bottom cover of the engine, see point 2.4.
Remove the front engine mount, see point 1.2.
Unscrew the starter wire and remove.
Unscrew the fastening bolt -1- on the clutch housing, as well as the bolt -2- on the holder and remove the starter.
Installation
Install and screw the starter. At the same time, tighten the bolts on the clutch housing with a torque of 45 Nm, and the bolt on the support holder with a torque of 35 Nm.
Connect the starter wire, see "Withdrawal".
Install the front engine mount, see point 1.2.
Lower the car to the ground.
Connect the wire "masses" batteries.
Set the clock to the current time.
Set the radio's anti-theft code.
