Wipe up spilled fuel, oil or grease, and brake fluid from the paintwork immediately, otherwise the paintwork may change color.
Re-preservation is necessary if the water does not drip from the varnish coating in drops, but spreads over it. Regular maintenance keeps the gloss of the varnish for a long time.
Another preservation option is preservation during the car wash process. However, water-based preservatives protect paintwork adequately if used with every wash, and the time between two washes is no more than two to three weeks. Use only varnish preservatives containing carnauba or synthetic wax.
After using detergent (foam washing) post-treatment with a preservative is especially recommended (follow the specified operating instructions).
Polishing: Polishing of the lacquer is necessary only when, due to insufficient care due to dust, industrial emissions, sun and rain, the lacquer does not have sufficient gloss and cannot be restored with preservatives.
Avoid using too strong chemicals or abrasives, even if they work well the first time. Wash the vehicle cleanly and dry thoroughly before polishing. Then proceed according to the instructions for use.
Processing should be carried out on a small surface to avoid premature drying of the varnish. After using some polishing agents, conservation is then necessary. Do not polish the varnish in direct sunlight! Matt lacquered parts are not treated with preservatives or polishes.
Removing resin stains: resin stains are quickly absorbed by the varnish and then cannot be completely removed. Fresh resin stains can be removed with a soft cloth dampened with gasoline. Refueling gasoline, kerosene or turpentine oil can also be used. Lacquer preservative removes resin very well. When using this means the subsequent washing of the car is not necessary.
Removing insects: Insect remains contain substances that will damage paintwork if not quickly removed. This cannot be done with just a sponge and water, but a mild, lukewarm soapy solution or a solution containing detergent must be used. Carefully rub the varnish, otherwise scratches may form. Rinse the varnish thoroughly with water after washing.
Care of plastic parts: clean plastic parts, artificial leather seats, ceiling, lampshades and matt black parts with water and shampoo, do not wet the ceiling too much. If necessary, treat plastic parts with a plastic cleaner. Never use nitro thinners, cold solvents or fuels.
Glass cleaning: Wipe window panes inside and out with a clean, soft cloth. With severe pollution, alcohol or warm water with the addition of ammonia, as well as a special glass cleaner, helps.
Tilt the wipers forward when cleaning the windshield.
Attention! When using products containing silicone, do not use brushes, sponges, car leather and rags to clean the varnish coating. Cover the windows with cardboard or other material when spraying with silicone-based lacquer.
Care of rubber seals: from time to time maintain the elastic state of the seals by dusting the sealing and sliding surfaces with talcum powder or spraying with silicone spray. This prevents noise and creaking when closing the doors. Noises are also eliminated by rubbing the appropriate surfaces with soap.
Light alloy wheels: treat with a rim cleaner, especially in the cold season, do not use aggressive, strongly alkaline, acidic and rough cleaners or steam jets with a temperature above 60°C.
Seat belts can only be cleaned in the assembled state with a mild soapy solution, do not use chemical cleaners, as as a result, the fabric of the belt can be destroyed. Rewind automatic seat belts when dry. Do not dry seat belts at temperatures above 80°C or in direct sunlight.
