Starting the engine by towing

Attention! Towing (car engine start) Not possible for vehicles with automatic transmission. Vehicles with a catalyst may only be towed when the engine is cold and in one attempt, otherwise the catalyst may be damaged.

Turn on the ignition.

Press the accelerator pedal.

Disengage the clutch and shift into third gear.

Pull or push the vehicle.

Slowly engage the clutch.
