Checking the engine oil level

            0

The engine oil level should be checked approximately every 1000 km and topped up if necessary. For every 1000 km, the engine should not consume more than 1 liter of oil. Higher oil consumption is a sign of worn seals and/or piston rings or oil seals.

The vehicle must be on a level surface when measuring the oil level.

The engine must be warmed up to operating temperature.

After stopping the engine, pause for about 3 minutes to allow the oil to collect in the sump.

Remove the engine oil level gauge and wipe it with a clean cloth.

Then insert the pointer until it stops and remove it again. The oil level must be between the two markings.

Add oil only if the oil level is close to the lower mark. The difference in the amount of oil between the MIN and MAX marks on the indicator is, depending on the type of engine, from 0.5 to 1 liter.

Oil is added through the oil filler neck in the cylinder head cover. Use the correct grade of oil for topping up, no additives.

Attention! Do not overfill oil "MAX". Excess oil must be sucked off, otherwise damage to the engine seals or catalytic converter may occur.
