Visual inspection of the exhaust system

Special tools and spare parts are not needed.

Raise the vehicle.

Check the tightness of the installation of the fixing clamps.

Inspect the release device under a lamp for holes, rusted parts and abrasions.

Replace severely dented exhaust pipes.

Rotate and stretch the rubber holders to check for porosity and replace if necessary.

Lower the car to the ground.

Petrol engine: Check the connection and seating of the Lambda probe.

Diesel: check the tightness of the exhaust gas recirculation device.
