The fuel system includes the fuel tank, the fuel pump located in the fuel tank (only in petrol engines), fuel lines, fuel and air filters. The petrol or diesel fuel injection systems themselves are described in separate chapters.
The fuel tank is made of plastic and is located under the rear seat in front of the rear axle. Models with all wheel drive (all-wheel drive) equipped with a two-chamber ventilated fuel tank. The fuel gauge gives the driver information about how much fuel he has left in the tank.
Models with gasoline engines are equipped with a safety switch that turns off the fuel pump in the event of an accident or overload. The switch is installed in front of the driver's door on the left side wall.
Models with diesel engines are equipped with a diesel fuel heater to ensure trouble-free operation of the vehicle in cold weather.
