Removing the fuel tank in an all-wheel drive model

Withdrawal

The fuel tank is removed in the same way as in other models, however, the following preparatory work must be done:



To free part of the tank against the filling pipe, unscrew the screw plug and insert the suction pipe of the pump.

Remove the exhaust pipe see point 8.

Unscrew the exhaust pipe heat shield protecting the drive shaft and fuel tank from the bottom.

Remove the cardan shaft, to do this, unscrew the transfer case, unscrew the central support and the rear axle drive, see point 10.5.

Installation

Screw in the screw plug.

After installing the tank, attach the heat shield.

Install the cardan shaft.

Install the exhaust pipe see point 8.
