Automatic transmission
Choice of driving modes (P-R-N-D-L) transmitted to the box through a cable. Adjustment is necessary after installing the gearbox or shift actuator.
Remove the air filter and intake pipe, see point 5.6.
Raise the vehicle.
Remove the catalytic converter heat shield under the selector lever from the underbody.
The adjustment mechanism is secured to the underside of the selector lever on a clamp -1-. Unlock adjusting cap -2- by turning it to the left. Disconnect the cable from the shift mechanism.
Put the selector lever in position "D".
Note: the battery must be connected, otherwise the lever cannot be moved out of the parking position.
Make sure the shift shaft lever on the gearbox is in position "D". Label "D" marked on the gear lever.
Install the clutch cable and lock by turning the adjusting cap to the right.
Screw on the heat shield.
Lower the car.
Install the intake pipe and air filter.
