Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door

You will need: Flat and Phillips screwdrivers, TORX T40 wrench.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Remove the exterior mirror control unit (see «Replacing the exterior mirror control unit»).

3. Remove the inner handle of the door lock drive (see «Replacement of the internal handle of a drive of the lock of a forward door»).



4. Pry off the decorative trim of the door handle with a screwdriver..



5.... and, overcoming the resistance of plastic clamps..



6.... remove the trim.




7. Press the latches of the wiring harnesses of the power window control buttons..



8.... and disconnect the pads from the button terminals.



9. Turn out two screws of fastening of the handle of a door …



10.... and remove the handle.




11. Overcoming resistance of plastic holders, remove an upholstery of a door.

Note. This is how the plastic holders of the door upholstery are located.

Note. If the holders are damaged, replace them with new ones.

12. Establish an upholstery of a forward door in an order, the return to removal.
