Front door glass replacement

You will need a socket wrench «on 10».

1. Remove the front door upholstery (see «Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door»).



2. Peel off the plugs of the two technological holes from the bases of the power window..



3.... temporarily connect the power window control buttons and set the glass to the upper position, corresponding to convenient access to the mounting studs.



4. While holding the glass, unscrew the studs securing the glass to the power window through the technological holes.

Attention! Be careful not to drop the glass mounting studs inside the door, otherwise, in order to get them out of the door cavity, you will have to remove the window regulator.

5. Remove the glass from the door by pulling it up and turning it in the doorway, as shown in the photo.

Note. If the plastic glass inserts are damaged, replace them with new ones.

6. Establish glass of a forward door and all removed details in an order, the return to removal.
