Replacing the rear seat belt

This subsection shows the replacement of the seat belt for the middle and left passengers in the rear seat. The right passenger seat belt is replaced in the same way.

You will need: TORX T50 wrenches, «on 10», flat blade screwdriver.



1. Tilt the rear seat cushion forward and remove the bolt securing the right passenger's seat belt buckle in the rear seat and the middle passenger's lower seat belt anchor.



2. Similarly, remove the seat belt buckles of the middle and right passengers in the rear seat by unscrewing the two bolts of their fastening.



3. Turn out a bolt of the lower fastening of a seat belt of the left passenger on a back seat …




4.... and disconnect the lower mounting bracket from the base of the body.



5. Use a screwdriver to pry off the decorative trim of the left passenger's upper seat belt bracket in the rear seat..



6.... and remove the trim.



7. Turn out a bolt of the top fastening of a belt and disconnect an arm from a body.

Note. Spacer and spring washers are installed on the bolt, do not lose them.

8. Remove the top and middle lining of the sidewall (see «Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier»), fold forward the back of the rear seat, unscrew the five bolts securing the latch of the back lock..



9.... and remove the latch.




10. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an inertial coil to a sidewall …



11.... and remove the seat belt of the left passenger in the rear seat.

12. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
