Power steering pump replacement

You will need: socket head «on 10», key «at 15», pliers.

1. Remove the power steering pump drive belt (see «Replacing the power steering pump drive belt»).



2. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an arm of a delivery hose.



3. Loosen the nut..



4.... and take the pressure hose of the power steering pump to the side.



5. Squeeze the bent ears of the clamp..



6.... move the clamp..



7.... and disconnect the suction hose from the power steering pump connector.



8. Turn out four bolts of fastening of the pump of the hydraulic booster to an arm of its fastening and remove the pump.

9. Install the power steering pump in the reverse order of removal.

10. Bleed air from the power steering system (see «Bleeding the power steering system»).
