Removal and installation of a starter

You will need: socket wrenches «on 10», «at 13».

Place the vehicle on a pit or lift.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Loosen the terminal nut «plus» starter power supply and remove the terminal from the stud.



3. Turn away a nut of fastening of the plug of a wire of food of a traction relay (Removed oil filter for clarity).



4. Move the wires aside.

Note. This is how the nuts for fastening the wire terminals are located (intake pipe removed for clarity).

5. Remove the three bolts securing the starter to the clutch housing..



6.... and remove the starter.

7. Install the starter in the reverse order of removal.
