Replacing the contact group of the ignition switch (lock)

You will need a flat blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Remove the top..



3.... and the lower part of the casing of the steering column (see «Removal and installation of casings of a steering column»).



4. Press the latch..



5.... disconnect the wiring harness block and remove the contact group.



6. Press the top (for clarity, these operations are shown on the removed steering column) …



7.... and lower clamps..



8.... and remove the contact group from the ignition switch.

9. Establish contact group and all earlier removed details upside-down.
