The vehicle identification number is stamped on the strut mount on the passenger side.

Deciphering the identification number, for example WFOUXXGAJU7L00000:
- WFO - international code of the manufacturer;
- U - body type;
- XX is a constant;
- G - manufacturer country;
- A — assembly plant code;
- J - the lineup (Fusion);
- U - body type;
- 7 - year of issue (tab. 1.3);
- L - release month (tab. 1.4);
- 00000 - body serial number.
